Le colloque " International workshop on the inter-comparison of space and ground gravity and geometric spatial measurements" se tiendra à Strasbourg du 16 au 18 octobre 2017.

Sponsorisé par l'Université de Strasbourg, l'IPGS, le CNFGG et soutenu par l'IAG, il réunira plus de 50 participants du monde entier autour de trois grands thèmes :
- Comparing gravity with geometrical space technique (like VLBI, LLR, SLR, DORIS or GNSS) to determine more precisely the surface deformation / Comparaison de la gravité avec la technique spatiale géométrique (comme VLBI, LLR, SLR, DORIS ou GNSS) pour déterminer plus précisément la déformation de surface.
- Transfer function of the Earth at various time-scales related to the elastic and visco-elastic properties of the Earth / Fonction de transfert de la Terre à différentes échelles temporelles liées aux propriétés élastiques et viscoélastiques de la Terre.
- From the modeling of geophysical layers to the realization of a terrestrial reference frame: geocenter motions, modeling accuracy? State of the art and next step towards the millimeter accuracy? / De la modélisation des couches géophysiques à la réalisation d'un référentiel terrestre : mouvements des géocentres, précision de modélisation... Etat de l'art et prochaine étape vers la précision millimétrique ?
