Training period and work experience

Postdoc, University of Strasbourg (april-june 2012). I developed a program with a user interface that performs multi-offset multi-component 1D inversion of grounded frequency EM data.

Engineer Geophysicist, University of Strasbourg 2009-2012. During my PhD at IPGS, I developed a program with a user interface that performs fast 1D and 2D inversion of airborne transient EM data.

Internships

Schlumberger Stavanger, Norway, Engineer thesis (2008, 6 months). Modelling of seismic time lapse caused by overburden layer changes during oil production.

Near Surface Geophysics Group EOST, Master thesis (2008, 5 months). Influence of grain size and shape on georadar waves.

Inverse Problem Group, University of Kuopio, Finland (2007, 3 months). EIT (Electric Impedance Tomography) measurements in laboratory on flowing water. Modelling of near-field GPR radiation pattern using Comsol Multiphysics.

Projects

Master 1 project within the Near Surface Geophysics Group of EOST. Characterization of paleo-channels in Alsace by sub-surface methods: ERT, GPR and magnetic data acquisition campaigns.

Master project in Poitiers: Geo-mechanical modelling using the finite elements program Cast3M: characterisation of the density of fractures within rocks.

Field work

Geothermal exploration (2009, 5 weeks). Acquisition of Magneto-telluric data in Vendée (France).

Fault imaging (2008, 1 week). GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and seismic data acquisition in Costa Brava (Spain)
