This course consists of 2h/week of lectures and 2h/week of tutorials, during semester 2. Matlab programming will be easy after following course "Computer Science I". Thus, students will mainly focus on how to solve classical geophysical problems using Matlab (e.g. plotting the seismicity in France to infer the Gutenberg-Richter law, interpreting geomagnetic data with 3-D graphical tools, etc). |
