Description

The object of this course is the study of the Earth's gravity field, the calculation and use of gravity anomalies, the notion of isostasy and finally the associated vertical movements of the lithosphere. The teaching is based on many exercises that will use mathematical notions studied in L0 and L1.

At the end of this course you will be able to :

• Use a scientific result in a reasoning and for the benefit of a conclusion
• Interpret a gravimetric anomaly and an isostatic anomaly.
• Use a scientific result in a reasoning and conclusion.
