Description

The aim of the Introduction Week is to provide students with a first overview of the topics and challenges they will encounter during the next two years of the program. Through exposure to representative water-related issues, students will begin to understand the types of problems they will be equipped to address in the future.

The week is designed to be interactive, experiential, and engaging. A variety of pedagogical approaches will be employed — including inspirational talks, collaborative group activities (some of which may be playful), and field visits — to encourage reflection on personal learning objectives and professional roles in the water sector.

Field trips will take place in the surrounding areas of Karlsruhe and will serve as concrete examples to illustrate key themes of the program.
