The course is an introduction to the following subjects:
- Gravity field and shape of the Earth
- Earth tides
- Variations of the Earth rotation (precession of the equinox, forced nutations, Eulerian nutation, length of the day variations)
- Earth's magnetic field
- Thermal state of the Earth (internal heating and heat transfer).
