Master Sciences de la Terre et des planètes, environnementParcours Continental Water Sustainability (ouverture à la rentrée 2026-2027)
Description
Students will make the connection between their experience and published academic writings. They will experiment with building skills as needed during their project work. Students will meet their skill needs by interviewing experts, writing and presenting essays using concepts and tools learned from scientific books and articles. They can refer to and complete a catalogue of potentially useful books. This is to enable them to develop new tools and concepts while using scientific knowledge. Thus, they will experience a scientific approach to knowledge building at the intersection of their own experience, that of the experts they meet, and published academic knowledge. We offer them a methodology to become autonomous in their learning and thus be able to manage complex and sustainable projects. Students can seek help from the teaching team and their classmates to find ways to improve the skills that are important to them.
The experts meeting aims to familiarise students with the importance of daring to ask for help, meeting different people and building a network.
Each student will build his skills portfolio by listing concrete evidence that they can provide to support the level of skills he believes he has achieved. He will be able to identify his areas for improvement and obtain feedbacks from their peers in the class. In this way, they will prepare a factual argument for their recruitment and integration into professional life.
