"Earth and Environment Sciences" Masters

At the end of the degree, students can prepare the masters degree. It is a national degree and a degree of higher education, validating the fifth year of study after the baccalauréat (a level equivalent) (120 European credits).
The Master is obtained after validation of three half years of teaching and one half year of laboratory research internship. Each of the first three half years includes teaching units belonging to a common core curriculum and of the student's choice. They allow the student to construct their own course according to their initial training and their professional project.

The Earth and Environment Sciences Masters offers two specialities :

Earth sciences: Geophysics, Geology and Dynamics of Land Systems

This speciality is based on the dynamic research potential of the Institute of Earth Physics of Strasbourg (PDSI) in geology and geophysics. It places great importance on theoretical training and field placements.

This specialisation is for students wishing to find a place in a company or prepare a thesis in the areas of management of water and soil pollutants or modelling their transfer in natural or contaminated ecosystems.
