
3rd year classes
During the third year of the course, students have a choice of 3 courses including a common core of courses in the 1st semester, specific EU to the chosen course, a subsurface geophysical field course in Alsace, followed by an industrial 6-month internship in France or abroad, leading to the writing of a thesis and an oral defense for graduation.
Modules :
1st semester : 4 required in the selected course and 2 electives to choose from all remaining modules 3rd year.
Subject : 1 course of Master 2 Earth Sciences can be chosen instead of an elective option of 3rd year from :
- Gravity and Geodesy
- Seismology and earth structure
- Physics of seismic source
- Active deformation and geodesy
